Responsible to: Public Relations Director

Overall Purpose: To retain new and existing clients.

Deputise for the PR Director with key clients in his absence.

To win new clients and assist with managing accounts.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To maximise customer satisfaction by building excellent relationships with clients, by
  • being proactive, prompt and creative in all work, and ensuring WA's quality standards are
  • maintained at all times.
  • Managing all activities of key accounts through marketing, PR, and account management.
  • Implementation of PR and marketing strategies, and using all elements of the marketing
  • mix.
  • To be responsible for winning new clients and cross-selling other services to existing ones.
  • Working with the PR Director and the Chief Executive to promote Word Association and
  • manage other functions of the business.
  • Sales/Marketing
  • To actively market Word Association at events.
  • Deliver potential leads to enable company win new clients.
  • To identify potential partnerships with relevant organisations.
  • Financial/Administration
  • To provide information to enable the central services director and their staff to produce
  • timely invoices, estimates, and reports.
  • To ensure that overheads and job costs are kept to a minimum through effective financial
  • control, negotiation, and tendering.
  • To maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and adhere to all financial regulations
  • Staffing
  • To effectively brief colleagues, suppliers, and freelancers ensuring that they understand
  • their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • To positively contribute to team meetings and activities.
  • Other
  • Any other duties as specified by Line Manager or the Chief Executive.

Group Account Executive
Location: Leicester
Salary: £18,000 basic

The main objective of this role is to introduce and explain ‘all-employee’ voluntary benefit programmes to individuals and groups of employees at client companies across the UK, and achieve maximum membership of our clients Hospital Plan and/or Death Benefit enrolment programmes, and such future products as deemed appropriate by the business.

 

  • Maintain first line contact with Regional Sales Manager to ensure the lines of communication regarding collecting daily information, coordinating allocation of locations, business scores, and any other issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

 

  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of activity and production to meet company targets and customer service levels.

 

  • Ensure compliance with FSA principles & legislative requirements

 

  • Ensure that work is planned, coordinated and conducted in a timely and efficient manner and that all deadlines are met.

 

  • Adhere to company codes of conduct and pay special attention to avoid any disruption to the client company work schedules.

 

  • Clear communicator.

 

  • Self-motivated.

 

  • Able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales and/or business development environment and the achievement of targets.

Starting salary £16,000 plus performance related bonus
OTE £28k in the first year

Working on your own but always part of a team, your role will be to introduce and explain their benefits to individual employees at client companies across the UK. Including the explanation and enrolment in our Health Plan, a simple 15 to 20 minute process which is closely monitored and for which you will be fully trained. This job involves travel all over the UK so a full driving licence is essential.

• Before you get started, you will attend an initial two week residential training school which will prepare you for every aspect of our controlled sales and service process, of course you will be paid full salary and expenses during training.

• After you have completed this first stage you will be provided with your Company Car, Smart Phone and can start doing the job

• You will be assigned your own experienced manager who will keep in close contact and continue your ongoing personal development

Preferably you will have already enjoyed dealing with people. You are confident, a good communicator, able to work on your own initiative and competitive. You will spend all of your time on the premises of our client employers, so being able to deal with all kinds of people is essential.
